Graham Norton comes to the US:

“I get lots of straight guys coming up going ‘Oh, my girlfriend loves your show,’” he says. “Or they’ll say it in a begrudging way, like ‘I have to admit it’s quite funny, that show — despite you being a great big screaming faggot!’”

Norton brings his campy personality to America starting Thursday, when Comedy Central launches The Graham Norton Effect on Thursday. Airing weekly, the show will echo the British incarnation’s format — celebrity interviews, elaborate pranks, skits and Norton’s saucy banter.
