Street & Smith: A Trip to Mars

» Lurid Trash

In this gallery of cover images we have selected what we feel is a representative sampling of the great variety of art to be found in the Street & Smith Collection. For a more complete collection of images, please see the dime novel holding list.

A Trip to Mars

One of Syracuse University Library's Digital Projects is the Street & Smith Preservation and Access Project. When I think of Street & Smith I think of The Shadow pulps. While they have a list of The Shadow radio scripts there's not much from Street & Smith's pulp publishing phase. Much of the site is devoted to their earlier dime novels. Of that I think the Dime Novel Cover Art Gallery is well worth a look.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Street & Smith: A Trip to Mars. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
